We are a family-owned and operated business based at Black Hill Station on the upper Rakaia River in Mid Canterbury. With over twenty years of hands-on experience fencing our own property, we know firsthand the challenges farmers face when it comes to reliable, cost-effective fencing.
Over the years we noticed that many essential products were either unavailable in New Zealand or inconsistent in quality, while costs kept climbing. So we established our own company, dedicated to sourcing and producing materials that meet the real demands of New Zealand farming conditions.
Before we made anything, we spent six months researching suitable manufacturers, supplied our own specifications to a select few companies worldwide, then flew out to personally inspect the factories and meet the people we would be dealing with. Only then did we decide who would make our gear.
Because we started by sourcing materials for our own property, which we were going to install ourselves, quality has always been at the heart of what we do.

Tested before it is sold
Every product is used on our high-country property before we offer it. If it does not hold up here, it does not go on the site.
Made to our own spec
We do not resell whatever is cheapest. We send manufacturers our specifications, drawn from decades of fencing these hills.
In stock, not special order
Much of our range was once special-order only. We carry it so you are not waiting on a shipment to finish a job.

We guarantee the lifetime of every item against reasonable failure. If something is not right, we make it right.
